Champagne FranceA superb surprise! Outstanding quality and value. Pale straw colour good mousse followed by very fine profuse bead with excellent persistence. The nose again is very impressive yeasty aroma with biscuit toasted honey and a flor sherry like background indicative of some aged reserve wines being incorporated into the base blend. Full bodied creamy palate with fine flavours and excellent persistence. Biscuit cashew and yeast lees flavours are dominant. Crisp acid finish followed by a long aftertaste of grapefruit and yeast lees. Stock up!
(Champagne France)Taittinger is a style of Champagne that I very much appreciate. I prefer finesse and delicacy over the heavy yeasty ones. A quick note on this one. Lovely pale colour. Lightly fruity (peach/apple/citrus) with some floral overtones. A clean fresh smelling wine. On the palate again quite light and delicate with minerally citrus and apple flavours. Slight breadiness. Good fine bead and an attractive foaminess in the mouth with a little sweetness on the finish. Not especially complex but lovely elegant fizz and a good standing up style. Gary Walsh Winorama

(Champagne France)'If I were to select one champagne from the line-up (of which there were 40 champanges) for sheer distinction and style it would be Gosset Grande Reserve' (Tim White The Australian Financial Review)
(Champagne France)This unique Champagne is a definitive next level style that spends an extended time on yeast lees and includes high amounts of reserve wine leading to a style that if fuller richer and more complex than nearly any standard non vintage cuvees.
- Champagne France -+â-ó+óGÇÜ-¼+à GÇ£This wine swept me away; the clean smooth fruit-driven bouquet with its twist of nut and cashew the almost delicate palate with attractively smooth nectarine and citrus flavours running though to a begui
(Champagne France)'Compared with the 1999 Grande Annee this wine looks almost indecently cheap for such a deservedly famous house. Typically 60 per cent pinot noir 25 per cent chardonnay and 15 per cent pinot meunier a substantial part is still fermented in old oak barrels. This plus the inclusion of about 7 per cent reserve wines up to 15 years old makes this the most complex and instantly recognisable non-vintage.James Halliday James Halliday's Top 100 Wines Nov 10-11 2007
(Champagne France)The Veuve is a wonderful distinctive Champagne from one of the great Houses Veuve Clicquot's Yellow Label is powerful round and elegant. Indulge in a true classic.
(Champagne France)Burnt malty/creamy/oatmeal aromas - a little subdued with nuances of fish oil. Lovely bright zingy zesty lemon rind fruit on a creamy oatmeal palate. Great oak complexity and excellent acid length. Rating: 5 Stars * * * * *Winestate Magazine
